Dear Friends and Family,

My story is a little different than most supporting this cause. In October 2011, I lost my mother due to the actions of an angry, drunken man. It took quite some time for me to recover from that loss. Approaching the anniversary date of her passing in 2012, I searched for something to help distract myself during that rough weekend. I heard about Extra-Life through a gaming community I am a part of, Split Infinity Radio. I looked into it and decided I would join a cause to help people as a celebration of my mother’s life instead of thinking about her passing.

This is my 13th year being a part of this amazing charity.  Each year I have continued to raise my goal, encourage friends to join my quest, and host events each year. I am thrilled to be part of a great community to help kids and their families. 

I've pledged to play games and raise funds for kids at my local children's hospital.
