Dear Friends and Family,

This year is my 12th year participating in Extra Life. The main reason I joined the campaign was because of our family's personal experience with the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Both my daughter, Olivia, and son, Benjamin, were born with a metabolic disorder and are seen by them regularly in the city for follow ups. Both children have been seen in the hospital's Emergency Room for sicknesses that turned into multiple night stays.

In addition to the metabolic disorder, Ben was born slightly premature and needed the expertise of the staff at CHOP. He spent a week in the NICU and I can't speak more highly of the staff and facility. I will be forever thankful to them and will do whatever I can to make sure they can continue to provide the great care for other families going through tough times.  -Video Below

This Year's Goals:

TO BE ANNOUNCED!

Last year I hit $12,500 raised for CHOP lifetime through Extra Life. I hope to also raise the most I have in one year and possibly hit $14,500 by the end of this year. It is a lofty goal especially since I am not going to Extra Life United this year, but with the support I get every year from everyone, I believe we can do it.

Giveaways:

I love to host giveaways for people that both donate and/or share my Extra Life page. Anyone who donates will get 1 entry for every $5 they donate. You may win more than once and all entries from donations will carry to all giveaways through the year. It is best to follow me on social media @doughboyee for all giveaway announcements and #FreeCodeFriday events.

 Benjamin's story:

In November, I'll be playing games for 24 hours to raise funds for sick kids at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia!

Here's how it works

  • Extra Life is a 24-hour fundraising and gaming marathon to support Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
  • On Game Day, I will join the thousands of gamers and dedicate an entire day to play games and get donations from friends like YOU!
  • 100% of the donations go to The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. TOGETHER we will make a difference for sick kids!

Your donation is tax-deductible and will make miracles happen for families who desperately need them. You can click the "Donate" button at the top of this page to make a safe and easy online donation.
