Hello Folks!

Many of you know, but for those who don't my daughter had a rough go of it her first year.  She spent 2 weeks+ over two visits in the ER/ICU fighting respiratory challenges triggered from RSV.  The staff at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin was incredible both with my daughter as well as being empathetic to a very scared mother and father.

We were fortunate enough to have insurance as well as the supplemental funds to cover this trip, but for many families this would not be possible.  It crushes me to think of a parent looking at their child in pain have also fearing for the finances of their whole family.

ExtraLife helps make sure that kids get support regardless of financial situation as well as funding research and other children’s health initiatives.
