Extra Life 2017

ProUD to be Extra Life-ing once more!

Hey folks,

I'm back at it again for the kids in my 4th year of participation! Each year that I have held an Extra Life campaign has had special meaning to me and this year is no exception. Late last year, my wife and I were so blessed to have our 2nd "MIGHTY" baby boy Darius, born healthy and happy and growing bigger and stronger each day. We know not to take this for granted, and we're grateful for each day our boys remain healthy and happy, as there are many kids who are not as fortunate as Octavius and Darius.

This sad fact came a bit closer to us in the past 12 months, as three of our close friends each have had their own incidents with the health of their new babies, from things like the intensive care required for a premature birth, to an infection that uncovered a predisposition to seizures. In both of these cases, it has been the care and dedication of the CHOC medical teams that have brought comfort and relief to these tiny new humans and their families and friends.

It is for reasons like these that I remain firmly committed to supporting CHOC and all of the Children's Miracle Network of hospitals through my participation in Extra Life 2017.

For those of you who are participating or donating and are interested in the raffles and activities for Play it Painted, please stay tuned to this specific section for raffle and prize information, as well as (hopefully) team information.

For now- the immediate goal is to make it to the $200 mark prior to the November event. For this reason, any donation of $15 or more that is early enough to take us to the $200 mark will be eligible for all raffles in this campaign, so donate early!
