HELLO FRIENDS OF THE OLPL!
Welcome to our Extra Life Team's fundraising page! Our team is on a mission to help sick and injured kids in our local community and we need your help. Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital treats thousands of children each year, regardless of their illness, injury or even their family's ability to pay. These kids are facing scary stuff like cancer, cystic fibrosis, and injuries they may get from just being a kid.
To help raise funds and awareness for these sick and injured kids, we're participating in this huge worldwide movement called Extra Life. Gamers of all kinds pledge to play everything from video games to board games and tabletop RPG's for 24 hours! It's our sincere hope that you'll find it in your heart to support our efforts with a monthly pledge or one-time gift that will go directly to the hospital each of us has chosen to support.
Join us for an Extra Life Gaming Fest at the Oak Lawn Public Library on July 22nd. You will be able to make donations on site, as well as play video games, board games, and more with some of our friends from the Extra Life Chicago Guild and our local 4 Onions Gaming Society. We hope you'll also join us in November for another fest that will wrap up our fundraising for the year.
Your donation is tax-deductible and will make miracles happen for families who desperately need them. To make a safe and easy online donation to a member of our team, click on the "Roster" tab and then on a participant's name.
We need your help to reach our goal For The Kids. Thank you so much for supporting our team's efforts!
