DONATE

Dear Game Informer Community!

In 2011, a handful of people from the Game Informer Community had the fun idea to get together and form a team for Extra Life. That year we raised a few thousand dollars, but had a blast doing so! Fast forward to 2016, Team Game Informer has raised over $135,000 to date and continues to grow exponentially with the increased support from the Game Informer staff and bigger production values.

2017 looks to be our biggest year to date! Our goal is set at $60,000. Come join in on the fun and help Team Game Informer reach it's goal for the kids!

On November 4th, We'll be playing games for 25 hours to raise money for sick kids at Gillette Children's Specialty Care. And you could win prizes just by watching our stream!

Here's WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

  • Extra Life is a 24-hour fundraising and gaming marathon to support Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
  • Every year, Game Informer hosts a livestream where we play games, eat ghost peppers, and throw pies at each other's faces. Check out the highlights from last year.
  • Your donation is tax-deductible and will make miracles happen for families who desperately need them.
  • Be sure to tune in to Game Informer's Twitch page or visit GameInformer.com on November 4, starting at 9:00 am (central time) when the fun begins. For those wondering where the extra hour comes from, it's Daylight Savings Time. An extra hour for games and stupid hijinks.
  • In 2016, we raised over $52,000 for Gillette Children's Specialty Care through Extra Life. Gillette is one hospital among the many being supported by the charity gaming marathons organized via Extra Life.
  • To donate directly to Game Informer, follow this link. 100% of donations go to Gillette Children's Specialty Care, and this year we're aiming to raise $60,000.
  • And please feel free to create your own account, join Team Game Informer, raise money for your local children's hospital, and add to the Game Informer Community total raised!
