Extra Life 2022

DONATE

Robert is going to play games for 24 hours again to raise donations for Dell Children's in Austin, TX! Dell Children's is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of children through excellence in patient care, teaching and research. These kids are facing scary stuff like cancer, cystic fibrosis, and accidental injuries.

Extra Life is a huge, worldwide celebration of the social impact of gamers and thousands participate worldwide. Since its inception in 2008, Extra Life has raised tens of millions of dollars to help children's hospitals provide critical treatments and healthcare services, pediatric medical equipment, research and charitable care. It's our hope that you'll find it in your heart to support our efforts with a donation.

I am hosting an in-person extravaganza for my 24 hour gaming marathon from 9:00 AM on Saturday, TBD to 9:00 AM on Sunday, TBD. If you want to attend the in-person event, reach out and I can send you details. Along with regular gaming competitions, I plan to include some tournaments and also dole out prizes to the winners.

I also plan to stream from my Twitch channel (https://www.twitch.tv/bobbychez) anything that I play on my Xbox or Playstation during the extravaganza. Once the event starts, you can also find the stream at the top of this page.

Just to provide a little background about why I choose to embrace Extra Life. My sister Mary was medically cared for, throughout her life, by Shriner's Hospital in Erie, PA. Though Extra Life doesn't benefit Shriner's directly (I donate to them directly when I can and also through Amazon Cares šŸ˜), it does help children going through a lot of the scary things that Mary faced throughout her life. Additionally, when my niece Elizabeth was younger, Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA provided care and help for her during times that I am sure was scary for Beth. So, in case I do not say it enough, I heartily thank any and all who donate towards this worthy cause.

To make a donation online today, click the "Donate" button near the top of this page. Thank you for supporting our efforts! I you want some additional incentive and dole out some punishment, for every donation received I will be spinning one of two Jelly Belly Bean Boozled options (either Fiery Five or a "disgusting" option). My choice for anything up to $100 and donors choice for $100 donations and beyond. I will send you a video of my jelly bean consumption and aftermath if I have your number.

If you need even more incentive, donations are tax-deductible and ALL PROCEEDS go to help kids. If you do donate, I also encourage you to check to see if your employer has a matching donation policy to match your donation. Why not double-up if we can?
