Howdy! I'm one of your friendly neighborhood Content Managers for the D&D Adventurers League and desperately want to help you level up your game while fighting for sick kids. Take up your dice, your sword, and let’s do this!

Here's how it works

  • Extra Life is a 24-hour fundraising and gaming marathon to support Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
  • I am joining thousands of gamers and dedicating this year to playing games and getting donations from friends like YOU!
  • 100% of the donations go to my local hospital: Seattle Children's Hospital. TOGETHER we will make a difference for sick kids!
  • Your donation may be tax-deductible but will definitely make miracles happen for families who desperately need them. Simply click the "Donate" button at the top of this page to help. Please consult with a tax professional before donating if you’re unsure of how your donation will affect your tax return.
  • When you choose the incentive you wish to pledge for on the right (bottom on mobile); IT TOOK ME  FOREVER TO SET UP!, PLEASE USE IT. If an item isn't listed as an incentive, it's sold out and unavailable until more are unlocked.
  • Please make sure you provide me your email address as a BARE MINIMUM; leaving more relevant information will help more. If you list yourself as anonymous, I DO NOT know who you are and I cannot contact you. If you're seeking a reward for your donation, you MUST provide your contact email address when you donate. Not doing this can SIGNIFICANTLY delay fulfillment.
  • All of the standard awards I’m offering are complete and should be fulfilled within a day or two. Custom rewards take a little longer, but you should have certificates for those rewards in hand before the end of the year.
  • Attention recipients of Tabaxi and XGE certs: Certain things have come to light that may have more or less rendered your reward a bit...moot. I'll be reaching out to donors who pledged for these rewards individually in the next week or so to adjust fire. Standby!

Adventurers League Curios and Wonders

The magic of the D&D Adventurers League is deep and strange, but sometimes it can be bent toward the greatest of goods. For your donation to help sick kids, I will plumb its darkest depths to find one of these twisted curios that you may add to one of your D&D Adventurers League Forgotten Realms characters. All rewards come as an Adventurer’s League legal certificate for the Forgotten Realms campaign that bares your name and is emailed to you.

$5 Donation – One of My Joints

I’ll send you one of the following adventures. You must provide the email address associated with your Dungeon Master’s Guild account and the name of the desired adventure with your donation. One per person.

  • DDAL00-07 The Embers of Hate
  • DDAL00-08 Layers Upon Layers
  • CCC-3MAGS-ONE Vormestrand’s Scroll

$5 Donation – Wadumu’s Luck

You can reroll a single d20 check, roll, or save. You must accept the new roll. Please indicate how many uses of this ability you’d like by donating in increments of $5. (Up to 10 per person)

$15 Donation – All of My Joints

I’ll send you all of my joints. You must provide the email address associated with your Dungeon Master’s Guild account and the name of the desired adventure with your donation. One per person.

  • DDAL00-07 The Embers of Hate
  • DDAL00-08 Layers Upon Layers
  • CCC-3MAGS-ONE Vormestrand’s Scroll

$25 Donation – Piping Hot Stew

This questionable stuff is waaaay too salty, and is scalding hot, but it sure is filling. As an action, you can consume the entirety of the bowl of this delicious treat and immediately gain the benefit of a short rest. Mmmmm! One per person.

$25 Donation – Pet Barding

Have a familiar, mount, animal companion, or vanity pet that you’ve grown attached to? Or did you at one point have a familiar, mount, animal companion, or vanity pet that died because you were too cheap to buy it barding? Then does Crannak Smolderburn have a deal for you! For a low price, Crannak will send you a suit of leather, scale, or chainmail barding for your familiar, mount, animal companion, or pet! This is an uncerted item; just annotate it on your adventure logsheet once you get a confirmation message from me! (No Limit)

$25 Donation – WALRUS FAMILIAR

So this is happening. My daughter, Moira, wanted me to choose seals as this years random pet/familiar/beast companion. Sure, it’s cute. But it’s dumb and nowhere near as awesome as a walrus (Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden). Besides, it’s pretty much a seal, it’s just got spikes sticking out of its face. I mean, who doesn’t want a Large sized familiar? This pledge nets you one random walrus that will serve as your familiar or as a plucky companion.

$25 Donation – Vormestrand Taproom: Good Mead

The influx of new money into the town of Cascadia has been great for business, and Vormestrand has decided to branch out. While still enjoying access to some amazing beers from the brewery in the Moonsea region of Faerûn, this new watering hole in Good Mead has started taking advantage of the numbingly cold temperatures and started churning out some crispy bois: lagers! This reward gets you a lifetime membership in Icewind Dale’s local mug club as well as a little shanty outside of town.

$50 Donation – Cassyt’s Trinkets!

Cassyt still has plenty of stuff in her big chest of trinkets and very-odd oddities from Sigil and sends a random one to you. Warning, these magical items and tomes have “quirks” worthy of the City of Doors and are generally of the Common range of power. You must provide the character’s name prior to fulfillment.

$100 Donation – Chwinga Charm

You have managed to cross paths with one of the sneaky elemental spirits that dwell in Icewind Dale. As tempting as it may have been to punt the little bugger, you managed to get on its good side. As a result, it has gifted you with a randomly determined charm. One per person.

$100 Donation – Saber-Toothed Tiger Steed

I know what you’re thinking; how can I perform a beneficial act of charity AND look amazing doing it? Well, if you’re reading this, you’ve got your answer. This pledge nets you one of the only members of the Felidae family worth a damn: a goddamn saber-toothed tiger. You must provide the character’s name prior to fulfillment. One per person.

$200 Donation – Hobgoblin Mob Member

While my true love will always be the humble kobold, hobgoblins also hold a special place in my heart. As such, donating at this level is a sure way to earn my affection. Your character can be a hobgoblin. This choice does not count against your PHB+1. You must provide the character’s name prior to fulfillment. One per person.

$200 Donation – Already Yipped? Now You Can Yap!

Those of you who pledged for the 2019 Yip, Yap! certificate are in store for a super-special treat. Upon verifying that you pledged for the kobold cert last year, the scaly pal you created with that certificate becomes a full-fledged urd, a winged kobold! You must provide the character’s name prior to fulfillment. Available only to those who donated for a Yip, Yap! certificate from my 2019 Extra Life campaign.

$200 Donation – Xanathar’s Guide to Everything

By donating, you gain access to either one archetype or five spells from Xanathar’s Guide to Everything that don’t count against your PHB+1. You must provide the character’s name and rules you wish unlocked prior to fulfillment. One per person.

$250 Donation – All of the Walrees…Walruii…Walrusees?

How many more walruses could you have? None. Literally none. Hope you’ve got the time to take care of them!

$400 Donation – Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything

By donating, you gain access to either one archetype or up to five spells from Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything that don’t count against your PHB+1. You must provide the character’s name and rules you wish unlocked prior to fulfillment. One per person. Delivery: November+ 2020.

$400 Donation – Horned Vengeance

Well, I guess I’m the jerk. Here I am touting all this nonsense about how bridging properties is bad and then I go and do this. I’m a big enough man to eat crow when it’s rightfully served to me. You may create a new minotaur character (Guildmaster’s Guide to Ravnica). This choice does not count against your PHB+1. You must provide the character’s name prior to fulfillment. One per person.

$750 Donation – Pipyap’s Teaches You Something Cool

Pipyap teaches you an epic boon (even though you don’t need to be a tier 4 character to learn it). I’ll work with you to create a custom epic boon that you can apply to a character of your choice. I’m also going to be square with you on this; this is a slow project for me; I have tons of stuff on my plate, so it may take a while to deliver on this, but I promise I will and it will be super awesome. You must provide the character’s name prior to fulfillment. One per person. Delivery: Q2+ 2021.

$1,000 Donation – Ar’soon’s Got Your Back

Stabbing Master Ar’soon is a smart guy. Way smarter than you. And through his expert tutelage, he will teach you a new feat that only you’ll know how. I’ll work with you to create a custom feat that you can apply to a character of your choice. I’m also going to be square with you on this; this is a slow project for me; I have tons of stuff on my plate, so it may take a while to deliver on this, but I promise I will and it will be super awesome. You must provide the character’s name prior to fulfillment. One per person. Delivery: Q2+ 2021.

$2,000 Donation – The Lambada of D&D

Back in 2016, I wrote an adventure so scandalous, so risqué that I am LEGALLY PRECLUDED from posting it to the Dungeon Master’s Guild. Ok, ok, it was neither scandalous or risqué; it just takes place in a certain extraplanar city that hasn’t seen an official release, so there are copyright entanglements. That said, I will run an online (or in person if you live within an hour or two of Olympia, WA) session of DDAO-05 Spaces in Between (tier 2) for you and up to five of your friends. Each player must have a basic version of Fantasy Grounds available. Delivery: Q2+ 2021.

Stretch Goals

As we raise more and more for the kids, I will unlock additional rewards.

$10,000 - UNLOCKED!!!!

Every donor gets entered into drawing. I will randomly draw one name for each certificate reward in the campaign and the randomly chosen lucky donor wins a copy of that cert for free! This drawing will occur in August 2021 at the onset of my 2021 Extra Life campaign.

$12,000 - UNLOCKED!!

Bumped this down to $12,000 because I wanted to use the incentive system. I've added two more copies of each limited certificate. This means if you missed out on something, you have another shot at that limited certificate.

$15,000 - UNLOCKED!!!

I will expand on my 1st stretch goal and add another copy of each cert to the random drawing that every donor will be entered into.

$20,000+ - LOCKED

Who knows what's next?

$25,000+ - LOCKED

Who knows what's next?

$30,000+ - LOCKED

When this stretch goal is unlocked, I will reveal a new certificate that allows you to play an archetype that I haven’t made up yet for a class that I haven’t chosen yet. Aren’t a lack of details fun!
