DONATE

Legend of Total War is pledging to play games and raise funds for kids at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center.

Legend of Total War's Level 1 Lord Challenge

Starting at 10:00am EST on Saturday, August 29, Legend of Total War will live stream on YouTube for 24 hours straight to raise funds for Johns Hopkins Children's Center allergy research.

Playing Total War: Warhammer 2 Mortal Empires, he will play as Legendary Lord Alberic de Bordeleaux in the Level 1 Lord Challenge. Every character will have no skill points distributed so they remain at level 1 for the entire campaign. Enemy factions will continue levelling their characters as usual.

Meet Trip

Tune in at 12:00pm EST to meet Hopkins Children's patient Trip and watch as he battles Legend. When Trip was 4 years old, he stumbled backwards into a campfire and spent 12 days as an inpatient at the Children's Center. Now 12, Trip loves playing video and PC games and is Johns Hopkins Children's Center ambassador. Trip is an inspiration to many, and lives by the motto "Just forget about it, look ahead to the future not the past."

Fund Food Allergy Research

Every day, all around the world, millions of children live with the burden of severe food allergies. They sit at separate lunch tables, carry EpiPens as lifelines, and go to birthday parties only to watch the cake from afar. No meal or snack is simple – food always represents a potential danger. Young people and their families are in desperate need of better treatments for these potentially deadly conditions.

At Johns Hopkins Children’s Center, one doctor is leading the charge to change that. For the past 15 years, Dr. Robert Wood has worked at the forefront of the quest to cure pediatric food allergies. A world leader, Dr. Wood has been among the first to study multiple novel treatments for food allergy, including oral immunotherapy, sublingual immunotherapy, and several new vaccines he is helping to develop. In fact, Dr. Wood and his team conducted the world’s first double-blind, placebo-controlled study of oral immunotherapy, a treatment that has shown great promise for children with severe allergies to eggs, milk, peanuts and wheat.

With your help, Dr. Wood and his team can improve the lives of countless numbers of children affected by food allergies. Donate now. Help us find a cure.
