I've pledged to play games and raise funds for kids at my local children's hospital.

Our Story

By day, Shawn works as a physical therapist and Emily as a customer service specialist in a family business. By night, we are gamers. Five years ago, our good friend Jacob introduced us to Extra Life as a way to use our hobby for good, playing games for 24 hours straight to raise money for our local Children's Miracle Network Hospital. We had a blast planning and participating in the event, but more importantly we were humbled by our friends and family's donations and thankful that we were able to donate as much as we could to our local hospital.

This is our 4th year participating in Extra Life, raising over $1600 for local CMN hospitals. During that time, we became parents to the most amazing little girl, Harper (we aren't biased at all), and created a community surrounding our podcast, BedtimeGamers. While experiencing so many changes, we continued to support or participate in the annual Extra Life fundraiser because its mission became increasingly more important to us; we knew that every little bit we were able to fundraise for our local hospital was making a difference in a child's and their family's life.

  • Now, more than ever, local Children's Miracle Network Hospitals need our help.

  • I'm uniting with thousands of gamers to offer hope to vulnerable kids.
