This is my sixth (6th) year participating in Extra Life and I've pledged to play games and raise funds for kids at Phoenix Children's Hospital which is my local Children's Miracle Network Hospital.
Here's how it works
Extra Life is a gaming and DIY fundraising platform supporting Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has raised more than $5 billion, most of it $1 at a time through the charity’s iconic red and yellow Miracle Balloon you see at grocery or convenience stores check-outs throughout the year.
Since 2008, Extra Life has raised more than $66 million to help children's hospitals provide critical treatments and healthcare services, pediatric medical equipment, research and charitable care. The movement, formed by gamers bonded by passion, is committed to saving and improving the lives of local kids.
100% of the donations go to my local children's hospital and now, more than ever Children's Miracle Network Hospitals need our help. Learn more about the Children's Hospitals COVID-19 Impact Fund at kidscantwait.org.
Children's Miracle Network Hospitals treat thousands of children each year, regardless of their illness, injury or even their family's ability to pay. These kids are facing scary stuff like cancer, cystic fibrosis, and day to day injuries they may get from just being a kid.
Your donation is tax-deductible and will make miracles happen for families who desperately need them. Please consult a tax professional before donating if you’re unsure of how your donation will affect your tax return.
But wait! Cool as that is, it's not just the 24-hour gaming marathon! I'll be fundraising and playing games all year, so get in on the fun and donate now! It's my sincere hope that you'll find it in your heart to support my efforts with a monthly pledge or a one-time gift that will go directly to my local hospital (Phoenix Children's Hospital)
