Why I Extra Life

I moved to London in 2011 and started working in the only field I knew, child care. I started off running a video drama club because I had been on YouTube before. Within a year I was working at schools across the city running clubs, camps and eventually regular before and after school care. A big part of my job is knowing families and knowing the needs of the kids. It did not take long for me to start hearing all the first hand stories of the profound positive impact that Children's Health Foundation had for the families in London. Most families talked about how CHF cares for children's well being as a whole instead of looking only at the symptoms of illness, that they felt they were getting a more human approach to their needs. Most of the programs that make this possible are funded by donations, and Extra Life gave me a chance to take one of my passions that allowed me to better connect with the kids I worked with and use it as a tool to help make life better for those needing the care at CHF.

I am very proud to raise funds for Children's Health Foundation and to serve as an executive in the London Extra Life Guild

I've pledged to play games and raise funds for kids at my local children's hospital.

Here's how it works

  • Extra Life is a gaming and DIY fundraising platform supporting Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

  • I'm joining thousands of gamers, dedicating a day to play games and raise funds from friends like you.

  • 100% of the donations go to my local children's hospital.

Your donation is tax-deductible and will make miracles happen for families who desperately need them. Simply click the "Donate" button at the top of this page to help.
