It is that magical time of year where I band together with gamers all over the world, in order to raise funds for a worthy cause: Helping sick children.
But how will we do that, you ask? On the first weekend in November, a united front of gamers will take part in a 24-hour gaming marathon! Granted, I am an old man now, so I prefer to break the event up over the span of an entire weekend. But I still plan on playing games until my eyes no longer want to cooperate and my thumbs beg to tap out.
This year I am playing to benefit Beaumont Children's Hospital, here in Michigan. All funds raised will be used to help fund care for children who wouldn't otherwise be able to receive life-saving treatments. My goal is to raise a grand total of $500, and I will need your help!
Fortunately, one of my favorite people in the whole-wide-world will be joining me in this insane adventure. Keri Honea, who has participated in this event with me on two prior occasions, will be making the long trek from Texas all the way up to Michigan, to once again participate in-person with me.
We are still in the process of planning our weekend of shenanigans, so stay tuned here for further updates on the schedule. We plan on livestreaming as much as possible on my Twich channel as well, so you can also participate in the insanity.
So if you could find it in your heart to support my participation in this event, I would forever be grateful. Your donation is tax-deductible and ALL PROCEEDS go to help kids. Thank you all so much in advance for your kindness.
