On November 3rd, I'll be streaming Dungeons & Dragons games to raise funds for sick kids at my local children's hospital!

ABOUT ME

This year I'm pleased to be an official streaming partner with Wizards of the Coast and two of my actual play podcast groups. You can find the complete schedule here.

In December, I'll be a new mom to a baby boy. With your donations I hope to meet my fundraising goal through the Extra Life charity stream in support of children who need medical care. Since being introduced to D&D a few years ago, I've taught at-risk youth at MacPhee Centre for Creative Learning and co-facilitated a D&D summer camp at Lake Washington Girls Middle School.

d20 Dames Tiers

I'm the Dungeon Master for d20 Dames, a storytelling podcast powered by D&D. Every other week a group of adventuring ladies explore a fantasy world, beheading (or befriending) monsters and punching creeps. Our family-friendly podcast is 100% written, produced and played by women.

By donating you can help me throw some fun elements into the game as DM. I've set the following donation incentives. Just mention what reward you’re choosing in the comments or in email when you donate. Limited rewards will be updated when filled.

Your donations can help shape the special Extra Life adventure:

$5 - Receive a digital copy of the adventure that I run for Extra Life. (No limit.)

$10 - Name a beverage available to the Dames during the adventure. (Limit 5.)

$15 - Whoops! Accidents happen at the roll of a die. Rose is our seamstress monk who mends souls and holes. The next time she uses Ki points she is lost in a trance for one round. (No limit.)

$15 - Whoops! Accidents happen at the roll of a die. Riot is our socially awkward tiefling. The next time she flies she does so upside-down causing disadvantage on ability checks. (No limit.)

$15 - Whoops! Accidents happen at the roll of a die. Loraya is our newest member! The next time the earth genasi druid casts a spell she must roll on the wild magic surge table. (No limit.)

$20 - Grant me a re-roll during the game. (No limit.)

$25 - Provide a treasure item for the Dames to discover. (Limit 4.)

$40 - Name an NPC to appear in the adventure. (Limit 3.)

$50 - Summon a Villain. Choose from: Xanathar, The Cassalanters, Jarlaxle Baenre, or Manshoon. (Limit 1.)

Adventure, They Wrote Tiers

I also play The Countess, an older half-elf cleric of the trickery domain, on the noir-themed D&D podcast Adventure, They Wrote. On November 5, we'll be taking over the usual Dragon Talk time-slot hosted by Greg Tito and Shelly Mazzanoble! Join the Waterdeep Detective Agency as we solve another crime in the City of Splendors.

You can help (or hinder) the performance of The Countess in the following ways:

$5 - Blessing of the Trickster. You gain a warmth in your heart for having helped raise funds for kids who need healing.

$15 - The Countess takes a break for tea. (No limit.)

$15 - Give me a specific advantage or inspiration your choice. (No limit.)

$23 - I get to replace one of my dice rolls with a 23. (No limit.)

$30 - Luck be a lady! Give me a chance to re-roll a 1! (No limit.)

The d20 Dames and Adventure, They Wrote each have their own fundraising pages so you can jump over there to give them boosts during their respective adventures!

Here's how it works

  • Extra Life is a 24-hour fundraising and gaming marathon to support Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

  • On Game Day (Nov. 3rd), I will join the thousands of gamers who are dedicating an entire day to play games and get donations from friends like YOU!

  • 100% of the donations go to my local hospital. TOGETHER we will make a difference for sick kids!

Your donation is tax-deductible and will make miracles happen for families who desperately need them. You can click the "Donate" button at the top of this page to make a safe and easy online donation.
