Dungeons & Dragons Extra Life 2018

DONATE

From BonnieBew:

"Last year, the LotRO community raised over $5000 for the Extra Life charity. This year, for personal reasons, I want to encourage the DDO community to get involved, too.

In August 2018, my 16 year-old niece was diagnosed with a congenital heart disease. Instead of volleyball tournaments and high school, she's she's getting fitted with an ICD so her heart doesn't stop and meeting with transplant teams. My family is being amazing about what's happening, but it's a lot to ask of a kid and her parents. So, as someone who's being directly impacted by what Extra Life and Children's Miracle Network Hospitals do, let me say that the care, compassion and expertise my family has received so far has provided much-needed comfort in tough circumstances. It makes an enormous difference.

Evennote, Tholgrin and I were already planning Shroudpalooza when my niece got her diagnosis. When I asked them, along with Cordovan, if it would be okay if we played Dungeons & Dragons Online for Extra Life this time around, they were all supportive. (Thanks again, guys!) We're playing for Boston Children's Hospital, since that's the closest CMN hospital to Standing Stone Games.

Please consider donating to Extra Life, either on this community page or that of another gamer. 100% of the donations go to the children's hospital. TOGETHER we will make a difference for sick kids!

Thanks for helping me to 'play it forward,'

Here's how it works:

  • Extra Life is a fundraising and gaming marathon to support Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

  • From now until the end of 2018, we encourage the Dungeons & Dragons Online community to support this great charity with their donations. On Shroudpalooza Saturdays (See schedule below), join in or watch twitch.tv/ddostream from 4:00-7:00pm EST, as Evennote, BonnieBew and Tholgrin run the classic raid, The Thirteenth Eclipse (a.k.a. The Shroud), on all the DDO game servers.

  • For more information about Shroudpalooza and how you can join in on the fun, visit the web page.

  • Donations of at least $5 US on this page on or before December 26, 2018 will be entered into an overall raffle. One donor will win a game code for 1 Year of VIP in Dungeons & Dragons Online!

  • $500 Goal (MET): DDO Players has donated a 1550 DDO point code to the giveaways! We’ll do the drawing for this point code as soon as we reach our $500 goal. (Wow! You guys are fast! We haven't even started the stream yet!!! )

  • $1000 Goal: We'll give away another 1550 DDO point code once we reach our $1000 goal.

Note you must include an e-mail on your donation if you want to be in any of the giveaways, otherwise we can't contact you if you win. Keep that in mind if you make an Anonymous donation!
