the Klingon empire wants you!

Qapla', fellow warriors! Welcome to my Extra Life fundraising page!
Ever since I found out I was going to be an aunt for the first time, I decided that I would make it my yearly mission to help sick and injured kids in my local community. I'm just one warrior though and I need your help. My local Children's Miracle Network Hospital, Lurie Children's Hospital, has treated thousands of children, regardless of their illness, injury or even their family's ability to pay. These kids are facing stuff way worse than tribbles or The Dominion - stuff like cancer, cystic fibrosis, and injuries they may get from just being a kid.

This is my 4th year helping to raise funds and awareness for these sick and injured kids by participating in this quadrant-wide movement called Extra Life. Gamers of all kinds pledge to play everything from video games to board games and tabletop RPG's for a glorious & honorable 24 hours straight! It's my sincere hope that duty & honor will win the day and you will support my efforts with a monthly pledge or one-time gift that will go directly to my hospital.

my goal is $1500 this year!

This feels crazy to me. Last year, my goal was $1000 and I ended up raising over $1600. I don't expect that craziness to happen again but I can hope!

I've got some pre-game day goals!

If I hit $470 before October 20th, I'll put my ridges on first thing in the morning on the stream & game in them until after midnight on my stream!
If I hit $800 before October 20th, I'll send out a survey letting you all pick out a horror game that I'll play on my stream in the middle of the night. I HATE HORROR! HAAAAAATE IT. I scream. I jump at every jump scare moment. My heart races. You will have the chance to make me cry on a live stream at midnight.

If I hit $1000 before October 20th, I'll do a concert live on my stream! $1000 is a big goal but the awesome thing about a livestream show is you can watch me anywhere around the world! Let's bring the concert to your living room (or home office or wherever you watch Twitch)!
If I hit $1500 before October 20th, I will have my entire head dyed Extra Life blue for my stream... professionally. Yeah, none of this wash out in 24 hours stuff. Nope. And for anyone who says "but haven't I seen you with crazy colors before?" You have. The difference? It's never been my ENTIRE head. I do cutesy streaks of all different colors but have never committed to a single crazy color on my entire head because I love my natural hair color.... this is how committed I am to raising money for charity! I will dye my WHOLE HEAD and it will last for at least 2 months.

my game day will be october 20th!

This is a couple weeks earlier than the official Extra Life Day but the timing of this year's official day is not good for me. That means I have less time to hit my insane goal! I'm going to do it!

Your donation is 100% tax-deductible and will make miracles happen for families who desperately need them. You can click the "Donate" button at the top of this page to make a safe and easy online donation.

As we get closer to the date, I'll announce a schedule of what I'll be playing and when with everything livestreamed on Twitch so you can tune in anytime to watch me play and chat with me during the 24 hour marathon!

I need your help to reach my goal For The Kids. Thank you so much for supporting my efforts! Satlho'qu'! Qapla' batlh je!
