On November 4th, We'll be playing games for 25 hours to raise money for kids at Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare in St. Paul, MN.
Here's WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
Extra Life is a 24-hour fundraising and gaming marathon to support Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
Every year, Game Informer hosts a livestream where we play games, eat ghost peppers, and throw pies at each other's faces. Check out the highlights from last year.
In 2016, we raised over $52,000 for Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare through Extra Life. Gillette is one hospital among the many being supported by the charity gaming marathons organized via Extra Life. 100% of donations go to Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare, and this year we're aiming to raise $60,000.
Your donation is tax-deductible and will make miracles happen for families who desperately need them.
Be sure to tune in to Game Informer's Twitch page or visit GameInformer.com on November 4, starting at 8:00 am (central time) when the fun begins. For those wondering where the extra hour comes from, it's Daylight Savings Time. An extra hour for games and stupid hijinks.
