Welcome to my Extra Life fundraising page! I'm on a mission to help sick and injured kids in my local community and I need your help. Children's Health in Dallas treats thousands of children each year, regardless of their illness, injury or even their family's ability to pay. These kids are facing scary stuff like cancer, cystic fibrosis, and injuries they may get from just being a kid.
To help raise funds and awareness for these sick and injured kids, I'm participating in this huge worldwide movement called Extra Life. Gamers of all kinds pledge to play everything from video games to board games and tabletop RPG's for 24 hours! It's my sincere hope that you'll find it in your heart to support my efforts with a monthly pledge or one-time gift that will go directly to my hospital.
Your donation is tax-deductible and will make miracles happen for families who desperately need them. You can click the "Donate" button at the top of this page to make a safe and easy online donation.
Extra Life is a Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals fundraising program within the gaming community. Participants fundraise year-round and pledge to game for 24 hours with one goal: to save and improve the lives of sick and injured kids. Funds raised stay local to help pediatric patients at 170 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals across North America. Since 2008, Extra Life has raised more than $30 million for member hospitals. The movement, formed by gamers bonded by passion, is committed to saving and improving the lives of local kids.
Every year in my participation, I have streamed my 25 hour run for Extra Life, and this year will be no different. You will be able to find me on my twitch channel on November 4th, and I will be running through a variety of games, as always. I start at 8am Central Time. *As a note, Daylight Savings ends on Sept 5th, turning the run into 25 hours.
(No NG+ Nightmare - Final Battle!)
This has been the most difficult of undertakings for the Kiseki/Trails series for me! And after fighting at this for two years, I have made it to the final battle. This opening block of the stream will either have me fail and go down in a spectacular manner, or I'll emerge victorious.
It may, or may not, be up to a coin toss, even.....
I may have already put 100+ hours into Breath of the Wild, but it returns this weekend, as I take on the DLC and play the Trial of the Sword. I've not heard anything about it, and have kept myself in the dark on purpose.
I have a history of slamming headfirst into Chester on gameday. Whereas the past two trials have been against Chester 1, I am now in the clock tower and will be facing off with Chester 2 this weekend. This is bound to be one epic battle.
This was originally a planned block for retro video games from the NES and SNES, but the audiences have demanded it via donations! Those old games will get thrown out for.... another old game!
Or a remake of one. I will begin La Mulana on gameday during this time slot. I have remained 100% blind, and you will get to enjoy me stumble stumbling around the ruins and getting myself killed quite often.
(Spoiler Enforcement will be Active.)
I am one trophy away from a platinum on Ys VIII PS4. The last trophy is completing the game on nightmare. This begins today!
(If $500 is met before Saturday, this will turn into Inferno.)
I make it no secret that I'm a huge fan of Uncharted, and the opportunity to follow both Chloe and Nadine is an exciting one. I have yet to start this game, so you will get to see the beginning live on stream, only on game day!
Wait what? You mean the NES game?
Yes. Did you know I've never played this game before?
Neither could Sniff. That's why he's going to be on voice chat with me while I deal with this game for the first time in the history of ever.
Sentinels of the Multiverse is one of my favorite tabletop card games ever. And by tradition, I will be playing the game with friends. Feel free to let me know if you want to hop in, and I'll get you setup on Discord!
Yet another older is being pulled out for gameday. I've promised for quite some time that I would be playing Baten Kaitos. So I am! Let's do this. It will also be shuffled into my 'to play' list for the year.
AS A NOTE: Daylight Savings Ends at 2am, making this block two hours, despite the appearance of the schedule!
Maybe I can finally get out of that stupid hospital block. I will be playing, again, with noise detection on!
At this point in the night, it will be absolutely necessary to keep going with some speed and action. Thus a super fast racing game is added onto the list. Feel free to let me know if you want to join in for multiplayer!
At the end of this long run of shenanigans and helping kids, we will need a cool down. Final Fantasy XIV is perfect for that. Yet another opportunity for people to jump in and join along for some fun while I try to do trials and heal people after having been up for 23 hours.
Let's do it!
