Extra Life is a Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals’ fundraising program that rallies gaming communities from around the globe to support local children’s hospitals. Their Game Day unites thousands of gamers around the world to marathon their favorite games in support of their CMN Hospital of choice, and just like traditional marathons, gamers and streamers are sponsored by their friends and family to raise money for their campaigns. For us, that’s where the Butterfinger Community comes in.
Game Better With Butterfinger x Extra Life Gameday 2023
Butterfinger is excited to team up again with Extra Life, with our last partnership in 2021 raising over $32K to help fund life-saving treatments and other healthcare services, along with research and equipment.
We can't wait for this team to show up big on Game Day on November 4th. Our squad will be playing Final Fantasy to hit our goal of raising $50K! Any donation of at least $5 will receive a DLC code for in-game content in the upcoming FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH, releasing February 29, 2024. We promise, you won't want to miss it!
How Do I Get Involved?
Join our gaming squad by either creating a sub team or by joining Team Butterfinger! You can also hang with us in some of your favorite FINAL FANTASY gamer's Twitch streams, as well as donate to Extra Life during Game Day weekend.

FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH IN-GAME ITEM
With a $5 donation to Extra Life, you will receive the Shinra Bangle Mk II DLC code, a premium bracelet with an engraving of the Shinra Company's logo. This item is for playable characters to wear in the game to boost their stats.
Is the Shinra Bangle MK II available to everyone?
One code per donor during the promotion is only available to residents in North America and South America that donate $5.00 USD or more during the Extra Life Game Day fundraiser from November 4-5, 2023. A Square Enix Members account is required to receive the code. Please note that the initial code is not the Shinra Bangle Mk II in-game item code and cannot be redeemed on your PlayStation account. The in-game item code will be emailed to you and also listed on your Square Enix Members account when the game launches on February 29, 2024.
