Extra Life is a Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals’ fundraising program that rallies gaming communities from around the globe to support local children’s hospitals. Their Game Day unites thousands of gamers around the world to marathon their favorite games in support of their CMN Hospital of choice, and just like traditional marathons, gamers and streamers are sponsored by their friends and family to raise money for their campaigns. For us, that’s where the Code Ninjas comes in.
At hundreds of centers worldwide, kids learn to code in a fun, safe, and inspiring learning environment, with a game-based curriculum that they love. Parents love it too, because their kids make real progress and gain valuable skills while having a great time. Everyone wins at Code Ninjas!
Our Goal
This year we are setting our goal to an ambitious $150,000 and we’re calling on our incredible Centers to join us again in raising money for CMN Hospitals/Extra Life. To do so, you can create a profile and join our Code Ninjas group (you can even create a team with your friends to add to our Super Team!) where you’re able to select the hospital you would like your funds to go towards. If that’s not feasible for you, please consider donating to our campaign or sharing Extra Life across social media to facilitate more donations – that makes a huge difference, and we’re not just saying that!
