Great, how do I get started?
You'll need a device to stream with (desktop/laptop, Xbox One, or PlayStation 4)!
Download or login to a streaming app to your desktop (like Streamlabs, OBS, Lightstream or XSplit). Have a console? Your Xbox One or PlayStation 4 will have apps to stream directly from console (Twitch, Mixer or YouTube)!
Set up an account with a streaming service (Twitch, YouTube, Mixer).
You'll need something to broadcast your gaming! PC or console:
Set your Chatbot to share your donation link when your streaming.
**Pro-tip** add #donate to the end of your participant URL (non-customized) to bring donors right to the payment screen!
Xbox extras to customize your stream
Explore options to customize your stream using Lightstream and Mixer!
Once you have your device, streaming software/service and accounts setup, add your streaming username to your fundraising page by clicking Your Page, then clicking the pencil icon to edit. This allows you to stream to Twitch, Mixer and YouTube and have the stream directly embedded on your Extra Life page! Your donors can interact and chat with you AND donate with ease!
Here's the steps to connect your stream to your page
On extra-life.org. add your streaming username to your fundraising page & save – you're ready to go!
Click Your Page in the top bar
Click the Settings tab on your page
Choose your service and enter your username
Note: YouTube requires you to enter the full URL to the live video, not your YouTube username
Click Save Changes
Share the link to your fundraising page through social media, text messages, your chatbot and email.
When you start streaming from your streaming software (Streamlabs OBS, OBS, Lightstream, XSplit) or console, your stream will appear on your fundraising page!
Don't forget to check out our broadcasting toolkit for additional overlays, commercial breaks, talking points and more.

We are back with another crazy year in store of raising money for kids at Boston Children's Hospital! Year 3 was an incredible experience where we surpassed 10K, attended my first Extra Life United event and got to know one of our champions and his family to strengthen my passion for this cause even further!
There are a lot of great milestone events in store as we reach towards our goal:
$2500 - Heroes in a Half-shell Event! If the Ninja Turtles video game exists we're going to play it! Get ready for a marathon of all of your favorites with me dressed as a Ninja Turtle! Go ninja, go ninja, go!
$5000 - Groovin' with the Real Deal Event! During this event, I will be dancing the night away using games in the Just Dance series! Let's groove tonight!
$7500 - Fiery Beanboozle event! Last year they were repulsive, but this year..THESE BEANS ARE ON FIREEE! I will spin the wheel and eat jelly beans that extend from jalapeno levels of spice to Carolina Reaper!
$10000 - Spooky Pizza 2.0 Event! Last year, I ate a monstrosity and you can make me do it all over again with a twist. This year donation wars can be waged as you will be able to donate to add OR remove toppings from the pizza!
$12500 - Livestream the Star Wars Prequels! I will be viewing Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith in succession with fun incentives in place!
$15000 - Onesie Disney Sing-along-athon! You'll get to vote on the onesie then we will celebrate hitting our initial goal for 2020 with 10 hours of Disney songs!
I've pledged to play games and raise funds for kids at my local children's hospital.
Here's how it works
Extra Life is a gaming and DIY fundraising platform supporting Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
I'm joining thousands of gamers, dedicating a day to play games and raise funds from friends like you.
100% of the donations go to my local children's hospital.
Your donation is tax-deductible and will make miracles happen for families who desperately need them. Simply click the "Donate" button at the top of this page to help.
