Great, how do I get started?
You'll need a device to stream with (desktop/laptop, Xbox One, or PlayStation 4)!
Download or login to a streaming app to your desktop (like Streamlabs, OBS, Lightstream or XSplit). Have a console? Your Xbox One or PlayStation 4 will have apps to stream directly from console (Twitch, Mixer or YouTube)!
Set up an account with a streaming service (Twitch, YouTube, Mixer).
You'll need something to broadcast your gaming! PC or console:
Set your Chatbot to share your donation link when your streaming.
**Pro-tip** add #donate to the end of your participant URL (non-customized) to bring donors right to the payment screen!
Xbox extras to customize your stream
Explore options to customize your stream using Lightstream and Mixer!
Once you have your device, streaming software/service and accounts setup, add your streaming username to your fundraising page by clicking Your Page, then clicking the pencil icon to edit. This allows you to stream to Twitch, Mixer and YouTube and have the stream directly embedded on your Extra Life page! Your donors can interact and chat with you AND donate with ease!
Here's the steps to connect your stream to your page
On extra-life.org. add your streaming username to your fundraising page & save – you're ready to go!
Click Your Page in the top bar
Click the Settings tab on your page
Choose your service and enter your username
Note: YouTube requires you to enter the full URL to the live video, not your YouTube username
Click Save Changes
Share the link to your fundraising page through social media, text messages, your chatbot and email.
When you start streaming from your streaming software (Streamlabs OBS, OBS, Lightstream, XSplit) or console, your stream will appear on your fundraising page!
Don't forget to check out our broadcasting toolkit for additional overlays, commercial breaks, talking points and more.

Most of you are here because you have a passion for Skyrim and love story. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to play Skyrim for 24 hours straight? Well, you are about to find out! Join me for Dovahpalooza! Saturday November 2nd at 10am Central time, right here on CouchWarrior I will be playing Skyrim with Joe and Matt from the Character Crusade podcast for 24 hours straight! We are playing for Charity and will be taking turns playing a character in Skyrim with the goal of completing as many quests as possible in that time and raising money for Gillette Children’s Specialty Care!
No fast travel, limited looting, variable difficulty level and constrained quicksaves are just a few of the rules we will be playing by. You may be thinking, “CouchWarrior, if you are trying to complete as many quests as possible, why would you make all of these rules?” To get our wonderful viewers involved, that’s why! Quick saves, fast travel, game difficulty and even in-game gold will be completed determined by your donations. The more we make for charity the easier it will be to complete quests! This is epic Skyrim role play with community involvement! Join us for Dovahpalooza and let’s play Skyrim for a great cause!
