Extra Life is a program of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals(CMNH) who put more than $3,000,000,000 towards life saving care and quality of life programs each year. Much of that comes in a dollar at a time from everyday heroes like you and me.

This is my 14th year as an Extra Lifer because this cause is so very important. This year, after having supported the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh for so long I'm shifting gears to support WVU Medicine Children's and spread the love to others. Once upon a time, years and years ago, I had my own childhood hospital experience. Though my issue was minor, the fear was not, so I want to do all I can to ease that fear for any child experiencing a hospital visit. Even if you've given before, I think you know this battle isn't over. There is always more that can be done! Through Extra Life, I’ve been lucky to meet a great many kids who have survived serious illness or injury, and even in the face of that, their optimism is a bright beacon in times of darkness. For them, it's never GAME-OVER, so we can’t stop either!
