I've pledged to play games and raise funds for kids at my local children's hospital.

Hello everyone. I'm Jason Montgomery from Calgary, Alberta, Canada on Treaty 7 land. Home of the Blackfoot Confederacy, the Tsuu T’ina Nation, and the Stoney Nakoda Nation; along with the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3.

Once again, I am taking part in the Extra Life 24-hour gaming marathon to help raise money for the Alberta Children's Hospital on November 4, 2023. Extra Life connects gamers from around the world to help raise money for sick and injured children across Canada and the USA through Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. This will be my eleventh year taking part, but Extra Life fundraising continues all year-round, so I'm back to:

RAID THE ARCADE!

When I took part in #100DaysOfGaming for 2019, I focused on beating Final Fantasy VII. Finishing it was on my gamer bucket list, and the impending release of FFVII Remake gave me a deadline. And I did, on Game Day 2019. I then started playing FFVII Remake when it came out in 2020, but I fell off the wagon. But now, with Final Fantasy VII Rebirth on the horizon, it's time to return to Midgar and finish Final Fantasy VII Remake.
