What?
This year RPGamer is teaming up with PS Nation and Retroids.com to participate in Sarcastic Gamer's Extra Life marathon. Why are we teaming up? To bring you huge prizes and special events during Extra Life!
When?
Extra Life this year runs for 24 hours starting at Saturday October 20, 2012. We will have mulitple live streams from RPGamer staff and Playstation Nation staff for you to follow along and play with throughout the day.
Why?
Extra Life is an annual charity event where participants pledge to game for 24 hours on October 20th in exchange for donations. 100% of the money raised will go to a Children's Miracle Network hospital local to the participant.
How do I help?
Please go to the contest page at http://www.psnation.org/special/extra-life-2012/ to see all the details of how and what you can win by donating to RPGamer staff members. RPGamer kindly asks that you consider donating to this worthy cause by sponsoring one of the members. Then be sure to come back and watch the live streams to see the RPGamer and PSNation teams play for 24 hours straight. You will be able to chat with the teams by registering for chat on PS Nation's twitch.tv channel. Please keep checking the contest page for new prizes and details about all the fun that'll be going down on the 20th.
Last year, Extra Life raised more than 1.2 million dollars to save kids, but in 2012 our goals, just like the needs of the kids we serve, are much, much higher.
