Dear Friends and Family,
I'm on a mission for the kids and I need your help. The University of New Mexico Children's Hospital treats hundreds of children each year, regardless of their family's ability to pay. These kids are facing scary stuff like cancer, cystic fibrosis, and injuries from accidents to name just a few.
On Saturday, December 12th, I will be graduating from New Mexico State University with a bachelor's degree in marketing. The very next day, I'll be playing video games for 24 hours straight to raise money for UNM Children's Hospital. It's my sincere hope that you'll find it in your heart to support my efforts with a donation that will go directly to my hospital.
I understand that it is the holiday season and we are all focusing on the health and happiness of our own children and families, but I also understand that many children are not healthy enough to be home for the holidays. Many families don't get to enjoy the happiness of having their entire family safe at home. It's these children that I will be playing for. The children who will be stuck in the hospital for the holidays.
The UNM Children's Hospital will use 100% of the funds raised during this event for the Child Life Playroom. This is a room stocked with toys and games for the children being treated at the hospital. For the kids who are too sick to be able to play in the Child Life Playroom, these toys and games are brought to their hospital rooms.
Will you please help me try to make this difficult time for these kids a little less difficult? Try to imagine if it was your child who was stuck in the hospital over the holidays. Wouldn't you be happy to know that they would be provided with toys and games that would help take their minds off of being stuck in the hospital? Together we can make that happen for so many children this holiday season.
Your donation is tax-deductible and ALL PROCEEDS go to help kids.
